How to prepare clove oil

The first way to make clove oil

Step 1: We bring about half a tablespoon of cloves in a skillet over medium heat for each cup of the oil you want to pour. Roasting the cloves holds their volatile oils and makes them easier to extract.


Step Two: Wash the utensils or bottle you will be using for clove oil, along with the mortar, pestle, and funnel, fill the bottle with water and set it to the side of the mortar, pestle, and funnel.


Step Three: Cover the mixture in the pot with a few inches of water and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Then, take the mixture out of the water and turn it onto a paper towel.


Step Four: Rinse the cloves in a colander under cold water and spread them on paper towels to dry. Pour the cloves in while they are still warm from the boil.


Step 5: Press the cloves a little with the pestle to grind them, then pour the cracked cloves into the bowl, followed by the high-quality extra-virgin olive oil.


Step Six: Attach the cap or stopper to the bottle and store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, shaking the bottle every two days.


Step Seven: Leave the clove oil for two weeks, then taste, if you want a strong flavor, let the cloves soak for a few more weeks, if the flavor is what you want, filter the oil through a lined sieve into a sterilized airtight bottle or container, and Clove oil is stored in the refrigerator and used within one month.


It should be noted that half a tablespoon of cloves per cup of oil produces a moderately flavored oil, and you can put a tablespoon of cloves per cup of oil to get a strong flavor oil, and you can substitute high-quality sunflower or safflower oil if you do not want the taste of olive oil in clove oil?


The second way to make clove oil

Ingredients: 

Sixty grams of cloves, two hundred and fifty grams of the original olive oil, and a sterile bottle are brought.


Method of preparation: 

We grind the cloves in an electric food processor, taking care that there are no odors in it, and we put the mixture of cloves, and olive oil in the flask, provided that it is closed tightly, then we put the mixture under direct sunlight daily for twenty days, taking care to shake Its components are well until they interact with each other, then filter the mixture, then put it in another sterilized vial and thus we have high-quality clove oil.
