2 Paint over small holes or cracks with a transparent nail enamel:

Clear nail enamel will only seal small cracks and holes in your window and

You can use the mesh from a pair of nylon stockings or pantyhose. Cut a square from the material that's large enough to suit over the whole crack. Apply super glue round the edges of the mesh patch and stick it on top of the crack in your window. Hold the mesh patch there for 2 to 3 minutes or until the glue dries. this may help keep bugs out of your house and can reduce drafts caused by cold air.


4 Tape a bit of thick plastic round the hole:

If you've got a bigger hole in your window and do not have the time to exchange it, you'll stop unwanted airflow through the opening . Cut a square of plastic from a tarp or a thick trash bag that's large enough to suit over the opening . Apply masking or adhesive tape round the edges of the plastic, sealing it onto your window.
